In high school in the 70's I had both a Citation 12 Deluxe and a Dynaco Stereo 150 at the same time. Testing them on IMF Super Compacts, I decided that the Dynaco was definitely better. Both were quite good. However, in comparison, the HK sounded rather dry and grainy, and Dyna more transparent and lively. I wonder what I would think of either of them if swapped with all the tube stuff I listen to now.
