Thanks for all of the suggestions. I automatically assumed that the driver was coming loose from the surround. However, everything looks fine--just like new; and the surrounds are in great shape.I decided to take the driver out to inspect and turn upside down; but I can't get the darn thing out--It is an extremely tight fit! I tried removing the terminal cup from the rear, in order to push it out--but still no luck. Also, it is hard to get to--because of all of the bracing inside the speaker.
As I said, if I place my finger anywhere in the top third of the speaker, the buzzing goes away. FWIW, if I place my finger on the bottom portion of the speaker, the buzzing gets worse.
