Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

I searched the Archives here, and in the Video Asylum, and could not find any information on this subject--Are there any "tweaks", that could be applied to a Dish Network receiver, that would reduce the noise from the hard drive? I am more concerned with the high pitched whine, than the actual mechanical noises. I already sent one unit back; and the replacement receiver is actually worse. Thanks!
