RE: Diode upgrade to Hexfred

I would agree with the suggestions to use Cree Schottky diodes due to my good experience with these parts. They do need to be over specified in my experience, 1.414 peak voltage calculations will not be sufficient. My power amp needed close to 3x to be long term reliable. I have also heard suggestions that only one diode be used in series on the output of rectifier circuits, which makes sense to me, but I have never tried that configuration.
