a compass is a simple but very sensitive 'layman's' detector and my refrigerator a high current device ... zilch reaction
'You might need to put a probe right next to the termination areas'
if that's the case these theoretical eddy fields are very weak
why should they be of concern?
'semi-conductor is to absorb and dissipate the EMI'
these laminated carbon fiber materials being discussed, aren't
they actually piezo electrical devices as opposed to semi-conductors?
the piezo electric effect can create topographical edge currents or
eddy fields that are taken into account in such mechanisms as microphones
for instance ... it's known that they'll dissipate static charges, but EMI? I've not encountered that property outside of the faraday effect
is there any citation you might offer so I can explore that a bit further?
with regards,
