Ceiling treatement...what say ye?

I've got pretty much all points covered with acoustic treatment, except the ceiling and am considering putting some GIK 244's up there. But before I go there, I'd like your input and opinion on whether treating the ceiling makes much of a difference.

So those with ceiling treatment, did you find it to produce noticeable benefits? If so, did you use absorption or diffusion?

I just got off the phone with GIK customer service and the gentleman advised using the 244's with scatter plates as opposed to the standard 244.
