Glad you're making progress. I've seen your thread on diyA. There must be a way to determine the noise source, and a reason why this new unit is affected and others not.
The higher voltage cap will be bigger, so make sure it'll fit. I don't know anything about the sound of Siemens caps. What I do know is that the coupling position takes the longest to break in.
I wonder if you really need 10uf, or if you need one at all on the input. Didn't you experiment with removing input caps from some other gear?
By the way, I owned one of those TDM xovers about 20 years ago. Used it on a non-critical system so I couldn't fully evaluate the signal quality, but thought it was noisy and got rid of it. I did not experiment with mods.
