RE: Use of Magnet Technology in Audio

I can't comment on how well the do or don't work for their intended function but I bet a static magnetic field causes a lot less bad sounding noise problem than one changing at more audible frequencies. Though if the magnetic field is fairly strong you may want to keep it away from magnetic media.
