maybe not the best choice

I made a pair of IC's with this Cat 5 plennum wire, using doubled strands for each leg, figuring copper/teflon is good no matter what level of quality. Big mistake: sounded dull, flat.

Neotech OCC solid copper/teflon: huge difference, all for the better.

Cheap wire is cheap wire, and it's a fantasy that it can be made to sound good.
