How about half the XM44?

You could put Sparkos in just the high pass filters. That's where I was always dissatisfied with monolithic chips. Even the best, when carefully implemented, seemed to impart a fake, hissy distortion to high frequencies. Well, you've heard the discretes, so you know what I mean. Those clearer highs seemed to allow more separation and air with mids, as well.
