Nothing wrong with deleting a post before it gets a response; that's why the option is there. If he didn't want to kick the hornet's nest and start another petty argument (I have more posts; I've been here longer; it didn't work for me so it won't work for anyone else, blah, blah), that's fine.
Upon careful reading, one can see there is no contradiction between my posts. To clarify: one addresses the risks (not even mentioning the cost!) vs results due to marginally reducing DCR of an inductor in a valuable vintage speaker, while the other addresses xover component changes in general, especially capacitors, which can be far more rewarding with little risk, even for a novice.
