Be careful if that transformer got real hot.
The insulation on the wingdings may be the only thing keeping the secondaries isolated from what gets hooked to the primary.
Are there any safety cert markings on the power supply or the transformer? Not that it sounds like you know peak temp or duration. That whole no fuse thingy would have me worried about that transformers insulation integrity.
