I can't say for sure whether op amp rolling gets you anywhere audibly and I did not try simulating the circuit. After skimming the circuit I'm skeptical about using anything other than FET input op amps. I think a bipolar op amp like the Bursons will introduce too much error from input bias/offset currents. If you decide to go for it please report your result.I might try simulating it later though. It looks pretty interesting.
