I bought two synergistic research red fuses after a friend recommended them. I found them clearly better sounding than the stock fuse in my gear.
The sound changed over about 50 hours time. I then took the fuse out put the old one in. The sound was not the same as with the red fuse easy to hear and not to my liking.
A year later I then bought the new and improved Black fuse. It also sounded very good.
Now SR is selling a "blue" fuse. I'm not going there, enough.
How a darn fuse can affect sound is beyond me.
Was it worth $125.00? Yes in my case I would do it all over again. I know that's a lot of money for a fuse... but the results made it worthwhile to me.
