If Furutech is getting them run through UL it seems almost surely a sign someone did not feel that whatever version of the fuse that Furutech is selling can be considered functionally similar similar enough to the certified version to ride along under the Littlefuse certification. No one wants to go through UL testing for fun. I'd guess they must be modified from the Littlefuse version by enough to scare someone into making sure they are retested.Edit: It would undoubtedly be UL making the call about whether the Littlefuse acquired ability to display the logo on the fuses it sells applies or doesn't apply to whatever Furutech ends up selling after they put them through their tweaking process. It's all pretty interesting and makes me wonder how the deal is going down between the companies involved and how the costs of any retesting gets handled and if UL gives a discount for the retest or not.
