RE: DIY Power-filter

If I'm not mistaken, Al's filters are differential mode fiters and the Lukasz Fikus filters seem to be for common mode. That knowledge in itself ought to help narrow down the types of "aggressors" which have the potential for being the "source" of the noise. It would be helpful if you could post links to the schematics for the filters you tried.
