I'm looking to change the RIAA caps for a warmer, more natural sound in a very heavily modified Pass Labs Xono and could use some advice. The unit has all TX2575s in the signal path and some Black Gate Ns and VFKs. It has no output coupling caps (DC is zeroes out when it warms up).
I'm thinking the current RIAA Caps are the weak point:
1) .01uF Relcap RTE polystyrene
2) .033uF Sonic Cap Gen I in parallel with a .0027uF Relcap RTE polystyrene.
My options include keeping some of these or mixing them with Jupiter Copper Foil & Wax (a favorite) for the .01uf, V Cap CuTf (great too, but not sure I need more detail) for the .033uF or some combination including the Audio Note copper foils or something else you'd recommend.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
