Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ.

Thanks, Duster.

Your recent posts about power supply for TV receiver inspired me to finish a similar project I'd started. I've had a Kingrex PSU powering my Cisco Uverse box for a couple of weeks now and results are quite positive. I followed your recco on the DH Labs wire, and scored connectors from Arrow to build the umbilical. The Kingrex was leftover from a previous application and was just gathering dust. Improvements in audio were immediately noticeable. The whomp, whomp, one-note bass was gone. Taughter/faster bass, and dialogue is easier to discern. The pic on my Pio plasma was pretty freaking good before, but on some material the reds seemed at times over saturated. Not any more, at least I've not witnessed it since ditching the wall-wart. All in all I'm very pleased with the change. Your find of the Zerozone PSU makes this an even more affordable tweak. The Kingrex has gone up in price a bunch since I bought mine and surely couldn't justify buying a new one for this project. The Zerozone looks like the ticket for others that might want to upgrade the PS on their video rig.

Again, thanks for doing so much of the leg work.
