I also got that email, it ticked me off too! I had no idea Chris sold those fuses, he is my first choice to buy from for many years wish I had known.
Monday I ordered a Black fuse for my Oppo power supply.
Once the Black breaks in I will rotate it and listen. After that I will put the stock fuse back into the Oppo power supply and listen.
The reason I don't swap the Red in my VAC is its very difficult to get to. And I am so pleased with it don't want to screw it up.
Crazy hobby swapping fuses, go figure.
