I have my two free MSA black discus samples on the end of the digital interconnect (XLR) that is plugged into the digital output of my Universal player. The other one is placed on the power cord of the universal player. A few months back I was listening to my system and for some reason it did not sound as good as I remember it usually sounding. After about 20-30 minutes, I started to investigate and got my flashlight out to look behind my rack of stereo equipment. Lo and behold, the black discus that I placed on the digital interconnect at the universal player end had fallen off! After I got some sticky tack and replaced it on the digital interconnect, my stereo system sounded like it used to (a more analog and flowing sound). This proves that the black discus has an effect when placed on the interconnect.
I just ordered some more black discus, and will report back after I get a chance to "experiment" with them.
