In Reply to: Help please. How can I enlarge 10" woofer hole posted by mcbuddah on May 11, 2013 at 15:44:27:
first you'll need to cut a circular piece of wood what will fill in the hole for the woofer. You'll fasten that in place with a strip of wood across the back which is screwed into the sound board.
Jasper makes a variety of circle guides that replace the base plate of your router. You'll drill a hole in the center of the woofer cutout and then use the plunge router to cut out the new inset to the diameter and depth you need. After practicing on a couple of scraps, you'll find it pretty easy to do. There's all kinds of info at Jaspertools.com. Also I've attached a link from the parts express Web site which shows the jig in use.
