Horizontal is the main issue. It will cause beaming of most frequencies.
Curving them causes disparate time arrival (unless you mean curving inward and you have done the necessary calculations, but then it will get really bad more than a foot off-axis), and thus, phase cancellations will cause very uneven frequency response at various frequencies.
There is more, but suffice it to say that the frequency response will be uneven and the center channel 'dispersion' will be totally unrelated to the L/R channels.
