I love the way the people in the DIY community always knock the audio companies for charging to much. As DIY'ers alot of times we can make similar products for much less money for a few reasons. For one we dont have to pay employees because we do the work ourselves, we dont have to pay rent on our factory, warehouse or storefront...etc, diy projects dont have to be UL approved or anything like that, we dont have to worry about competition from other companies, we dont have to pay for advertising, we dont have to spend money on R&D because we usually use other peoples proven ideas, and the list goes on and on. While I agree that some companies products are over priced, i wouldnt include PS Audio in that group of companies. Next time we knock a company for over charging lets just remeber all the costs they have that you and I dont have to worry about when we DIY. Maybe we should focus more on knocking the companies that charge $5000 for a speaker cable, now in my opinion thats way nmore crazy that $150 for a power conditioner!!!
