Lucky you have a backup,I am still trying to get mine working, I tracked down one bad resistor but still having problems. It figures I got the thing sounding so amazing and a simple little screw up and its dead all that work for nothing if i cant get it working. I am trying to win another on ebay just in case i cant fix it. Right now my the disk motor just spins real fast and the drawer stays open and wont shut:(

The hardest part is being careful not to lift any traces, even when your really careful it happeneds ocasionally. Be especially careful when you replace the rectifier diodes, the traces seem very delicate there i lifted on even being real careful, luckily there was a connecting solder pad right next to it so a little peice of jumper wire and it was like new.
