Im not so sure about adding another bridge rectifier like you said, but I am going to be adding a seperate transformer with dual secondaries, it will be use to power the clock, decoder and dac. One secondary feeds 3 new 5v regulators for the digital section of the dac, decoder and the clock and the other secondary feeds 2 regulators which take care of the analog section of the dac and decoder. Im in the process right now of building 3 small circuit boards, 1 for the tranny, rectifiers, filter caps and one each for the digital and analogue regulators. By seperating the digital and analogue supplies and feeding each with its owen regulator it should really clean things up and keep all thaty digital noise out of the analogue stage. It also frees up the power tranny so it only has to power the 18v rail for the servo/transport and the +-12v rail which already has Audiocom super regulators installed for the output stage. So I am well on way to finishing the serious mods. Im just hoping all this work pays off in better sound?
