Anyone made a diy version of these?? Im thinking of trying it with some MDF instead of the Acrylic they use. What kind of balls are best are they just regular blue hand balls? Whats the best method from keeping them from rolling around?? I was thinking of drilling a shallow 1/2in hole for them to sit in or maybe some rubber orings? I will be using it under my turntable/ My other choice was a sandbox type of base? Any opinions on which works better for turntables?
