I have a separate home theater system that I don't really treat as high-end, so I just use stock power cables with it. However, I previously moved one of my audio system's Shunyata Diamondbacks to the DVD player for a while and the difference was amazing. So much so, that I recently purchased a Diamondback for the DVD player.Now thanks to your post, I may purchase a bunch of less expensive "high-end" cables for the rest of the home theater components. Who knows, its likely that there's a whole bunch of stock cables out there with reversed leads.
