Re: Cap upgrade for my Teac P-500

I don't think I'd go lower in either voltage or capacitance. I usually end up going upward on both.

One option is to buy two BG's for each position and parallel them. Use some creativity on mounting. It can usually be made to work unless spacing is critical.

Alternatively I like to use Nichicon MUSE. They're pretty darn good and much more affordable. See link at bottom of page or check out PercyAudio. Also the BG take an eternity to settle in and sound their best.
