I've had that done in a walk in clinic

About two years ago I had used a qtip and pushed wax up against my ear drum....rather than taking it out. At the walk in clinic, the doctor took a device looking pretty much like that, pulled in some very warm water and slowly squirted it into my ear. The resulting pressure of the water is related to how hard you press down on the plunger. They had a bowl to catch the water as it came out. After a few squirts, my hearing was superb again. And it was pretty gross to see all the little wax floaties in the water. It's very easy to use, doesn't squirt hard and works great. Highly recommended.
