Give the REL bypasses a try, but normally they will extend the highs and tighten the bass........Is there any wire you could change out? Go with OFC if you can change it out.......Curious if there are any IR mosfets in the circuit? If so change them out for the Harris replacements.......IR mosfets have a ton of second harmonic that comes across as brightness in the upper midrange.....Might be time to think about a new unit if you can't get things under control using cheap tweaks.......
