Elso,Yes, TDA1541(A) accepts I2S if pin 27 is connected to +5V supply. And yes, better build with the TDA1541. I've tried Kusunoki DAC and I agree with Thorsten's words "very nice, alive and realistic, but a little rough". TDA1541 is as nice, alive and realistic as TDA1543 but not rough at all.
BTW, there's one more significant difference with Thorsten's DAC: I use parallel TDA1541s. If you ever decide to play with parallel TDA1541s you'll see how big the difference is (definitely worth soldering that extra 17 caps :).Bye,
