First read the manual several times !I picked up a deq2496 last week of fleabay...it arrived a couple of days ago. At first I was totally nonplussed but once you get down to it if you take each stage seperately things are not too complicated.
For room eq you will need a long cable and the ecm8000 mic.
Thats all I can tell you about this as I'm still waiting for mine.
What I can say is that this units dac is good [not great] and that simple mods will make it sound better ! ie opamp upgrades and decent caps.
