Mental lapse.Obviously a period of 1µS = 1Mhz but the rise time must be faster.I had a punch card program in 1973 that ran on an IBM 360 that drew a sine wave and harmonics.I remember the AudioAmateur article from 1977 and their .5V/µS per peak volt of output criteria to avoid slewing induced distortion but I can't remember how they arrived at that figure now.These days I tend to be more concerned with overshoot and settling times rather than the ultimate slew rate and rise time.I am collector modulating an L-band output with detected RF driving an op-amp and a power FET at 1.5Ghz.
