That they might "over cook" the cable being burned in inducing unwanted performance characteristics? Just wondering as the Ridge Street Audio Umbilical i recently grabbed for my Opus 21 was put on one and of course that statement reminded me of its $600.00 price tag and that i have but a few days left on my trial period before i could return it for a refund. Wonder what an over cooked all silver power umbilical would be sounding like.. i'd imagine something intolerably harsh and shrill maybe even crunchy lacking any depth or extension.. opinions? maybe i could return this one and ask for one not put on the Audio Dharma.
