Actually, does anyone know how to build a remote controlled volume control?

I built one some years back using a Parallax BASIC Stamp, a Crystal CS-3310 digitally controlled attenuator and an IR module. Could do the same thing with one of those Alps motorized pots too. Any number of ways to do it.
