au contraire se, its not a traditional UPS. its specifically designed for audio / video, not PCs or the like.If you go back and read what I actually said, you'll see that I said "something like a UPS." I don't care what the thing was designed for, the fact remains that it uses batteries and produces a 120 volt, 60 Hz AC sinewave which feeds the normal AC input of the components plugged into it. Which makes it "something like a UPS."
