I was wondering if anybody has used Battery Power for their entire system, such as forklift batteries?
Can't offer much on this yet as I'm just starting to head down that path while in the process of designing a new system for myself so it'll be a while yet.
How would one implement such a system?
Unless you're talking about modifying existing components, one way to start would be to go see if you like some of the gear that already offers battery power as an option such as some of Rowland's stuff.
DIY of course would be much more involved and not something I think can be summed up in a couple of posts.
I see two advantages, 1). Getting off the grid, 2). Clean power.
Well, unless you're using something like solar for recharging the batteries, you're not entirely off the AC grid teat. But at least you can be off it while you're listening. :)
What do you Guy's and Gal's think?
