Does this mean we should use the opamp with the lowest distortion and the best FFT.?? Do these results correlate with listeners experience of the best sound???
I don't know how my discrete opamp measures in this respect but it sounds better than all the opamps I tried. And I have a shoebox full of these: AD711, AD712, AD811, AD817, AD823, AD825, AD826, AD827, AD847, AD744, AD844, AD845, OPA604, OPA603, BUF634, NE5532, NE5534, JRC5532, OP27, OP37, OP07, OP01, LT1026, OP274, SSM 2017, SSM2135, OP249, AD829, OP17. Anyone interested in some of these? Just drop me a email.
Before you ask, schematic of my discrete opamp is not available. Closest is the Great River Opamp, see link.(if it works; did not right now)
