I had a hard time setting up the thing as the power cable that I thought I would be using was too stiff to be maneuvered into position (a very hard to reach place). Ended up using another cable and spent more time than I should have with the set-up. I only had about 15 minutes with it before I had to leave for work.
Initial feeling is that it does what the same tweak did to my Densen phono stage (also originally powered by an AC wall wart transformer). Generally, there seems to be a better sense of stability and solidity, as well as slightly finer texture. So far, Well worth the about US$100 that I spent on it (I asked a tube amp hobby shop to build it for me). I will need to give it more time to break in as well as more careful set-up (isolation, wire routing, etc.)
Will further report once everything is settled and more in-depth listening occurs.
