aka Click & Clack from 'Car Talk' always used to ask the color of the callers car to help them debug any mechanical issues. Of course, it was just a running joke as it didn't matter. I expect the same for amplifier chassis though given the choice I vote for a nice rainbow pattern to be progressive.
If you were a real audiophile you'd have them CNCed from solid.
