I have this op-amp relacement of a 5532 with a LME49860 (which I've liked the results so far in more than one piece of equipment. I even found a 741 opamp in my phono stage, which benefitted from the swap.
However, I have one CD, Tuck and Patti, that seems to trigger oscillation in my SMSL DAC with the replacement opamp. Maybe, I can bypass the power to the opamp as a remedy, but space is usually tight.
I found this write up of the pitfalls of substituting op-amps that may be of interest. It seems to pooh-pooh the idea that we can successfully swap out ICs, but I've had good luck overall.
BTW: One of these op-amps oscillated itself to death! Specs are tight, too, I presume. No problem, I ordered a whole bunch :)
