For years many Sears Kenmore appliances were made by Whirlpool. Sears might have Whirlpool add some features for their Kenmore brand. Sears may have spec'd a stronger HP motor for their Kenmore brand.

I would be willing to bet Leviton makes Wattgate audio grade duplex receptacles. You will not find any audio grade Leviton outlets branded Leviton though.
