It would be very likely very difficult or impossible IMO to verify all the info about these fuses. I would agree that if they altered the fuse after the certification that it would invalidate the UL certification. So here we are, back to Be Afraid, Be very Afraid. Now if I asked the people at Furutech this question and they said they didn't alter the fuse after the correct manufacturing process to achieve a UL certificate there would still be people out there saying that they may be lying. I can only do so much. Now guesser, what is a properly designed amp by an expert designer and do all such amps sound the same? Given the importance of the subject and your point of view that it is the job of the amp to amplify, not to sound good I can't fathom why it would be considered an irrelevant or useless question.
