I'm posing this question without first looking to see if a super tweeter would be of benefit for my Merlin TSM Black Magic edition monitors - need to do a little research on that. But assuming it would help and I'm running a Harmon Kardon Citation-II tube amp restored by Samara, given your recommendation to use a separate amp, should one use; SS, SS Class-A, Class-D, Tube for a super tweeter (given I'm already running a tube amp) - or just use whatever you have lying around?
