Isolation Options For Pre Amp. Looking For Suggestions

OK need to add some isolation footers to a BHK pre amp. I currently have some acrylic cones under it and they do make an improvement. However they are 2.5 inches tall, and I need something smaller.

Options I have been looking at are smaller cones, of either brass, aluminum, or ebony.

I have considered vibrapods

I have also thought about a set o the magnetic feet from Ebay, a set will do about 15 kilograms, my pre is about 9.8 KG.

The question is should I look to drain vibration away from the pre, which is what cones are reported to do. Or should I isolate the pre in whole, which is what magnetic footers or vibrapods are aimed at.

Since its a tube pre I will be using tube dampers also, but this is going to be a two stage approach. Any observations, experiences, or thoughts are appreciated.
