Always the risk of damaged drivers; fuse by-pass is not to be performed by the faint at heart! But in the 2 years with fuse in place I've never had one blown. Also, the quasi ribbon tweeter Magnepan uses is much more resilient than their true ribbon tweeter.As noted above, my tweak is obviously a personal observation. Any damaged occured during a wire mod is NOT covered by the manufactuer's warranty!
