1 - place CD player on DIY roller bearings and damping inside with rope caulk2 - DIY VenHaus style silver ICs with Eichman plugs
3 - installing Telefunken ECC802 tubes in my Foreplay preamp, plus a zillion other tweaks for that pre
4 - Moving mono power amps within 11" of speaker terminals and virtually eliminating speaker cables (still using Venhaus Cat-5 biwire at 27/9 pairs at that distance, rest is covered by 6 foot sivler ICs as described above)
5 - moving CDs to black CD-R media via EAC and slow recording
plenty more tweaking but those come to mind as the biggest changes in recent system history
