Unfortunately, the regular spacing and depth of the corrugations will only disperse a certain band of frequencies, (and some harmonics), and allow frequencies below the 'cut-off' point to reflect more or less normally. This could actually make things worse, rather than help a room's acoustics.A simple curved panel, in cross section, a section of a circle, or even an elipse (actually, I belive my DIY diffussor panel takes the shape of a caternary, or something close to it.), with enough depth, will provide a more even diffusion that is much less frequency dependant.
