Re: Studio Acoustic Tiles/panels for listening room?

These foam tiles or sheets are typically too thin to absorb down low enough to provide a balanced sound.

The result is that many people that try using these (or other inadequate acoustic absorbers such as blankets, bed pads, carpeting, opr rugs, etc.) end up using too much area to try and make up for it.

The best way is to use thick enough absorbers at strategic locations, coupled with bass traps in the corners, and some diffusors on the front and/or rear walls.
