Hello, I recently moved into a new house and in my listening room that measures 13x19x9 and have experiences a dramatic change from my old one which had vaulted ceilings and was slightly smaller. ( duh why wouldnt i) anyway what i hate is i have lost clarity, some imaging and soundstage, bass in certain cycles has been dropped dramatically but id say the worst of all is the midrage is hollow and muddy truthfully. my $2500 gem sounds more like a 20 dollar boombox. and the soundstage. i have moved the speakers around a bit, farther apart, closer. farther from the back wall, closer, toeing in etc. I havent tried anything like sound absorbtion panels yet. but i am looking for some ideas on what i can do. The room in on concrete floor with thick carpet also. Please help me, everyday the idea of selling my gear and getting a headphone setup seems better and better. Thank you also there is a pic of what my setup looks like right now, except the speakers have been moves farther apart and less toed in. Thanks
